We wrote postcards to each other during their trips. We would each choose a postcard that captured a moment or place they had visited, and then write a message on the back. It was fun to return home to something in the mail, and we learned more about what stood out to each other during the trip. We still find these postcards tucked away in books or drawers!

Growing up, our family had a tradition of creating a group travel journal. During trips, we would each take turns writing and drawing in the journal, capturing our favorite moments, reflections, and even inside jokes. These journals became cherished family heirlooms.
